With many of you having personal or classroom iPads, we have had an influx of questions based on apps. I have started compiling lists of apps you might want to consider for classroom use. Some might be familiar, and others might be new to you.
Even if you are working in a one iPad classroom, you may want to consider using apps in a number of ways. Here are some ideas:
Don't forget to use Helpdesk to request apps using the volume purchasing program through the district. All apps purchased in this manner need to be placed on district-owned devices.

Hey, have you ever thought, "I'd really like to meet with teachers from other schools, but it will be hard to get us all in the same place at the same time. I wish we could chat without having to meet in person?"
Well, your answer is Conference Bridge. This is an already built-in feature of our Cisco phone system! I have included directions for how to set up a Conference Bridge for you and whomever else you wish to include. To make the discussion even more rich, consider creating a Google Doc where you can all collaborate in one document to save ideas, follow an already existing agenda, brainstorm, make revisions to a plan or document, or just record minutes to refer to at a later date.
